Renewables produce 29% of UK’s power in Q1 - EnAppSys
Apr 13, 2018 9:30 CESTFeb 13 (Renewables Now) - The renewables arm of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6) announced last week it has won 66 MW of wind projects in Italy in last year's renewable energy tender.
Munich-based BayWa re renewable energy GmbH has been awarded the rights to build the 48-MW San Lupo wind park in Campania, as well as the 10-MW Arlena and 8-MW Tesennano wind farms in Lazio, according to a news release.
In late December 2016, Italy’s energy agency Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) released a list of projects representing 869.8 MW of capacity that won the right to sign offtake contracts in a renewable energy auction. This included 800 MW of onshore wind schemes and a single 30-MW offshore wind project.
BayWa re has built wind farms with a combined capacity of about 90 MW in Italy to date.
