Aug 12, 2013 - Italian company Azienda Agricola Luzi has installed the ShockWave Power Reactor (SPR) of US industrial processing technology provider Hydro Dynamics at its 100 kW biogas plant.
The Italian company installed the BioSPR 15 model of the ShockWave Power Reactor, Hydro Dynamics said in a statement on Friday.
The install of the ShockWave Power Reactor technology for biogas is the second in Italy with several more planned yet this year, Hydro Dynamics added.
Hydro Dynamics has partnered with Italian company Three-Es for the distribution of the reactor in the country.
The ShockWave Power Reactor is based on a patented cavitation process intensification technology, enabling customers to solve critical mixing and heating problems and reduce costs.
The reactor is increasing biogas yields, biodiesel transesterification, processing petroleum drilling fluids, chemical synthesis and pasteurisation of liquid eggs.
