Gasunie to develop Dutch hydrogen transport network
Jun 30, 2022 14:30 CEST(SeeNews) - Mar 1, 2013 - Austrian technology group Andritz (WBAG:ANDR) reported today 2012 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of EUR 182.4 million (USD 237.2m) in its hydropower segment, up from EUR 174.3 million in 2011.
The segment, which supplies electromechanical equipment for hydropower stations, improved its revenue to EUR 1.84 billion from EUR 1.77 billion. Order intake, however, fell by 4.2% to EUR 2 billion.
At the same time, the feed and biofuel segment saw its EBITDA rising to EUR 12.7 million from EUR 9.6 million. Revenue climbed to EUR 185.2 million from EUR 145.6 million and order intake increased by 1.3% to EUR 161.2 million. The unit supplies equipment for industrial production of animal feed pallets and biomass pallets.
Andritz increased in the reporting period its stake in Andritz Hydro Hammerfest, which provides technologies for energy generation from tidal currents, from 33.3% to 59.4%.
