Aussie developer Windlab seeks USD 40m in IPO

Aug 9 (Renewables Now) - Australian wind projects developer Windlab Ltd is seeking AUD 50 million (USD 39.5m/EUR 33.5m) gross from an initial public offering (IPO) on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).

The company is selling 25 million shares, 50% of which will be newly issued and 50% are existing shares held by Windlab SaleCo. Each is priced at AUD 2. The expected offer close date is August 17, while the proposed listing date is August 23.

The renewable energy company will trade under the “WND” ticker. Moelis Australia is serving as underwriter.

Windlab has projects under development with a combined capacity of 7,220 MW in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Southern Africa. It has already installed or is currently building 580 MW of wind farms.
