November 18 - Transition pieces are an essential construction component of offshore wind turbines. Situated in the North-East of England, the former Tag Energy Solutions and EEW Offshore Structures site was the first UK manufacturer of large-diameter pipes in Great Britain. Since the start of production in 2015, more than 200 transition pieces have been made there, including 56 for the Hornsea One offshore wind project and 30 for Hornsea Two, both built by Danish renewable energy group Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED).
