Arise Windpower's Sep output tops estimates at 34 GWh

Oct 1, 2012 - Swedish wind farm developer Arise Windpower AB (STO:AWP) on Monday said electricity generation in September was higher than expected at 34 GWh.

The company's wind parks produced 7.8 GWh more power than anticipated thanks to favourable wind conditions last month.

Arise Windpower is aiming at having around 300 wind turbines with a total capacity of around 700 MW operational or under construction by 2014.

Currently, the company's project portfolio includes leased land where turbines with capacity of over 900 MW can be built. The company currently has 139 MW of wind power capacity in operation and 102 MW under construction.
