Dec 11, 2012 - Spanish wind turbines maker Gamesa (MCE:GAM) will most probably be excluded from the Spanish blue chip index IBEX 35 at the three-month revision tomorrow, analysts said.
Gamesa has the worst liquidity among the current members of IBEX 35, in addition to a very poor performance on the stock market, analysts from Exane BNP said in a statement to customers today.
The most possible candidate to replace Gamesa in the index is Spanish maker of casings for meat products Viscofan (MCE:VIS), Exane BNP said.
The analysts also see telecommunication company Jazztel (MCE:JAZ) to replace builder Sacyr (MCE:SYV).
By 1438 CET, Gamesa's shares had shed 1.28% to EUR 1.618 on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
