Weekly renewables M&A round-up (Jun 27-Jul 1)
Jul 01, 2022 17:05 CESTOctober 11 (Renewables Now) - Canadian flexible clean energy infrastructure developer Amp Solar Group said today it has secured a CAD-200-million (USD 153m/EUR 173m) investment led by Colorado-based ZOMA Capital.
The investment is designed to support Amp Solar in the development, acquisition and build out of clean energy infrastructure assets in its core markets. The company provides dispatchable and flexible energy services to its customer network and to the grid, including solar photovoltaics (PVs) and energy storage.
For the almost 10 years that it has been on the market, Amp has built a portfolio of over 700 MW of distributed generation and utility scale energy projects. As of now, the company has more than 2 GW of projects under development in markets such as North America, Japan, Australia and India.
PLEXUS Solutions was appointed by ZOMA to act as structuring and financial consultant in this transaction.
