Acciona SA (BME:ANA) has scored a EUR-22.8-million (USD 25.5m) contract with Spanish public broadcaster Corporacion de Radio y Television Española SA (RTVE) for the supply of electricity from renewable sources.
Acciona will supply an estimated 206 GWh in total for RTVE’s buildings, equipment and other high-voltage electrical installations from April 2019 to March 2021, the renewable energy company said Thursday.
Spanish markets and competition regulator CNMC will accredit that the electricity is sourced from renewables.
Acciona Energia has been awarded the contract via an electronic tender. It is the company’s second contract with RTVE after previously winning a deal to deliver renewable energy from April 2017 to March 2019.
Acciona Energia expects to reach more than 6 TWh of contracts with corporate customers in the Iberian market in 2019, it said.
