Acciona to supply renewable power to Spain's railway co Adif

Spanish infrastructure group Acciona SA (BME:ANA) said today it will supply renewable power to Spanish state-owned railway infrastructure administrator Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias, better known as Adif.
Through Acciona Green Energy Developments, the company has won two lots for the supply of a total of 271.4 million kWh per year of 100% renewable electricity to Adif's railway infrastructure in 2019 and 2020. More specifically, the company will deliver CNMC-certified power to the Madrid-North and Medina-Basque Country suburban train networks at a price indexed to the daily market.
The revenues associated with the contract are estimated at EUR 47.3 million (USD 55.5m), including value added tax (VAT). The lots were awarded to Acciona Green at a price indexed to the daily market, the company said.
