Acciona to supply green energy to Seat, VW plants in Spain
Jul 18, 2013 - Spanish infrastructure and renewable energy company Acciona (MCE:ANA) will supply 100% renewable sources energy to plants of Seat and Volkswagen (ETR:VOW) in northern Spain, the firm said today.
Deliveries will take place in 2014 and will reach an estimated volume of 600 GWh. Martorell and Zona Franca factories, Gearbox in El Prat de Llobregat, and the Volkswagen Navarra facilities in Pamplona will receive the clean energy.
The financial aspects of the deal have not been revealed.
Some other corporate clients of Acciona's green energy are Adif, Aena, Telefonica (MCE:TEF), Madrid metro, Roca, Tetrapak, Grupo Corio, APM Terminals, Prado National Musium, Canal Isabel II Gestion and Acuamed.
