Acciona Energia to power Mango ops with renewables

Spanish renewables pure-player Acciona Energia (BME:ANE) will supply 100% renewable energy to Barcelona-based fashion house Mango under a ten-year contract.

The company said on Thursday that it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Mango covering a supply of 26 GWh of per year.

The PPA enters into force on January 1, 2023.

The volume of contracted power will enable Mango to fully cover consumption needs of its headquarters and logistics warehouse in Barcelona province and ten of its largest stores in Spain, Acciona Energia stated in the press release.
