The Commission is pleased to announce that the overarching theme of this year’s European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will be “Powering a fair and competitive green transition”. Scheduled for 10 to 12 June 2025 in Brussels and online, the 19 the edition of Europe's largest annual gathering focusing on renewables and efficient energy use – and first under the 2 nd von der Leyen Commission mandate – will focus on the main energy priorities of the new Commission. As part of the EUSEW tradition to co-create the conference programme with the clean energy community, the Commission has also opened calls for proposals for policy sessions, nominations in the different categories for the prestigious EUSEW Awards, and other aspects of this year’s events.
