Wind, solar co Capital Stage lifts 9-mo EBIT by 64%

German solar and wind park operator Capital Stage AG (ETR:CAP) saw its earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) jump by 64% in the first nine months of 2017 to EUR 93.3 million (USD 110m) and it confirmed its full-year guidance.

Results this year improved thanks to the full takeover of sector firm Chorus Clean Energy AG (FRA:CU1), the buy of more solar and wind power capacity, and higher levels of solar radiation compared to 2016, Capital Stage said on Tuesday.

The table contains the company's preliminary operating results for the period and the forecast for 2017.

Since the start of 2017, Capital Stage has purchased solar and wind assets with a combined capacity of over 60 MW and it has added roughly 160 MW of capacity in its Asset Management segment.
