UK wind parks produced 147,699 MWh of electricity on July 29, thus accounting for 28% of the total power output in country for the day.
Power plants produced a total of 526,917 MWh on Sunday, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo). With 25,338 MWh generated, the share of biomass power was to 4.81%.
