Wind makes 10.37% of UK’s electricity generation on July 2

July 4 (Renewables Now) - Wind farms in the UK produced 63,702 MWh of power on July 02, reaching a share of 10.37% in total power for the day.

Power plants in the country produced 614,528 MWh for the whole day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo). The share of biomass power was 4.62% with 28,361 MWh generated.
