Wind hits 41.87% share of UK’s power on June 30

Wind farms in the UK produced 201,351 MWh of electricity on June 30, reaching a share of 41.87% or more than any other power source generated that day.

Biomass power produced 48,376 MWh, slicing a 10.06% share of the power mix for the day.

The UK's total power output on Sunday stood at 480,908 MWh, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo). The table contains power generation details per source.
