Weltec Biopower to build 2.4 MW biogas plant in Poland - report

Aug 23, 2012 - German green energy solutions developer Weltec Biopower will start building a 2.4 MW biogas power plant in Poland in September 2012, renewable energy portal IWR.de reported today.

In addition to maize and manure, which will be delivered by farmers from the region, the plant's operator NEWD will be receiving waste from a french fries manufacturer, operating near the plant.

The new biogas plant will be located near the city of Danzig.
