Vogt Solar to build 9.5 MW solar PV plant in Germany
Jul 21, 2011 - German photovoltaic (PV) systems installer Vogt Solar GmbH has won a deal to install a 9.5 MW solar PV plant in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt from Sunspa3 GmbH.
The facility would include 40,320 PV modules mounted on 19 hectares (47 acres) of land and generate enough electricity to supply 2,600 homes and offset 4,800 tonnes of carbon emissions a year, Vogt Solar said.
The grid connection of the plant is slated for August.
Vogt Solar has to obtain the building permit and construction consent for the project.
