Turkey's Aksu Enerji contracts local co Masfen Insaat to build 1.0 MW solar plant
ISTANBUL (Turkey), November 7 (SeeNews) – Turkish power producer and distributor Aksu Enerji [BIST:AKSUE] said on Friday it has contracted local firm Masfen Insaat Enerji San. ve Tic. for the installation of a 1.0 megawatt (MW) solar power plant.
Aksu Enerji has also signed a 84-month 990,000 euro ($1.2 million) financial leasing agreement, including a five-year grace period, with local Islamic lender Albaraka Turk Katilim Bankasi regarding the investment, it said in a bourse filing.
The company has received an investment incentive certificate from the government that entitles it to exemption from value added tax (VAT).
Meanwhile, Aksu Enerji has wrapped up a 1.0 MW solar power plant in the western Turkish province of Isparta, the company added.
