Turkey ranks most attractive SEE destination for investments in renewable energy - Ernst&Young

ANKARA (Turkey), February 25 (SeeNews) – Turkey is the most attractive destination for investments in renewable energy in Southeast Europe, a ranking of global financial consultancy Ernst & Young showed on Tuesday.

Turkey ranks 23rd, a position higher than in the previous report, the consultancy said in the 40th edition of the Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Indices report.

Romania ranks 32nd, while Bulgaria and Slovenia rank 36th and 40th respectively, the report showed.

The Ernst & Young Country Attractiveness Indices analyses on a quarterly basis the top 40 most investment-attractive countries focuses on the extent to which markets are prioritizing renewables as a necessary and desirable part of the energy mix, putting an emphasis on the economic and political stability of the particular markets.
