to-the-point: US mutual fund cuts Ørsted stake to less than 5%

October 17 (Renewables Now) - US-registered mutual fund EuroPacific Growth Fund (EUPAC) has reduced its stake in Danish offshore wind giant Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) to about 4.8739%.

EUPAC owned about 20.49 million Ørsted shares as per October 15, 2018, the Danish energy group announced in a statement today. The voting rights attached to EUPAC’s ownership stake are delegated to its investment advisor, Capital Research and Management Company, which is fully-owned by The Capital Group Companies Inc.

In February 2017, EUPAC reported that it owned a 5.9% stake in the utility, then known as Dong Energy.
