to-the-point: Tender announced for 7.5-MW solar plant at Madrid airport

March 6 (Renewables Now) – Spanish airport operator Aena SME SA (BME:AENA) will award in a tender a contract for the construction of a 7.5-MW self-consumption solar photovoltaic (PV) plant at the Madrid airport.

The estimated value of the contract is EUR 10.957 million (USD 12.4m), according to a notice published in the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily (TED).

The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is March 22. Procurement documents containing award criteria as well as legal, financial and technical information are available to registered users at Aena’s website.
