Japanese renewable energy firm SB Energy Corp announced today it has initiated the commercial operation of a 1.3-MW solar array in Wakayama Prefecture.
The renewable energy arm of Japanese conglomerate SoftBank Corp (TYO:9984), estimates that the new photovoltaic (PV) system will meet the annual power demand of about 422 local homes by generating some 1.52 million kWh per year.
