to-the-point: ReneSola to equip 5.4 MW of Belgian PV plants with PERC modules

May 14 (Renewables Now) - China’s ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) said today it has received a contract to supply 5.4 MW of mono Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) modules for rooftop solar projects in Belgium.

The deal was awarded by France-based energy equipment and solutions provider Helexia and will see ReneSola deliver 5.4 MW of 310 W modules. Specific details about the projects were not provided.

At present, Helexia operates over 150 solar parks totalling 60 MW in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. According to the press release, ReneSola has been selected as the French group's key module supplier.
