September 5 (Renewables Now) - Madrid-based Kipin Energy, which bills itself as a retailer of 100% renewable power, will start commercial operations in Spain this September, Spanish business newspaper Expansion reported Wednesday citing a press release.

Kipin Energy expects to reach the end of 2019 with 1,000 customers and EUR 4 million (USD 4.42m) in turnover.

Based on the limited information available on the company’s website, Kipin Energy is targeting households, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large consumers and self-generation installations. The company, of Spanish origin, was founded in 2018.
