Japanese Mitsubishi Materials Corp announced on Wednesday it switched on a 8.3-MW solar complex in Fukushima prefecture.
Named Yabuki Solar Power Plant, the complex is comprised of four solar farms as shown in the table below
Local Chiyoda Corporation was responsible for the design and construction. Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance also took part in the development of the complex.
Covering a total area of 103,624 sq m (1,115,399sq ft), the Yabuki complex brings the Japanese solar portfolio of Mitsubishi Materials to 24.7 MW.
