December 5 (Renewables Now) - US infrastructure investor Fengate Asset Management and Longroad Energy Partners LLC have joined hands on the development and financing of a 72.6-MW wind project in Maine.

The parties have signed a co-development and financing agreement that will back the construction of the so-called Weaver project, they said in a joint press release on Tuesday. The particular wind farm will be located in Maine’s Hancock County and is planned to become operational at the end of 2020.

Presently, the project is in the late stages of development. Fengate and Longroad said they expect to get a notice to proceed in the middle of next year.
