to-the-point: Engie Services wins 2.4-MWp solar job in Netherlands

September 18 (Renewables Now) - Engie Services Noord BV, part of French energy group Engie SA (EPA:ENGI), will build a 2.4-MWp solar system in the Netherlands for natural gas infrastructure and transportation firm N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie.

The contract won by Engie Services, the value of which is estimated at EUR 2 million (USD 2.34m), includes the design, installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity on dikes, rooftops and “to a limited extent” as floating on water.

Nederlandse Gasunie launched the solar project tender at the start of 2018 and announced the winner this Monday.
