Brazilian power sector watchdog Aneel has authorised four wind energy plants with a combined capacity of 48.6 MW to start commercial or test operations.

The Ventos de Santa Angelina, Campo dos Ventos I and V wind farms received the commercial green light while the Ventos de Sao Benedito plant will go online under test operations.
After the test period, if the plant presents positive results, it will be allowed to begin commercial operations.
