Weekly renewables M&A round-up (May 23-27)
May 27, 2022 17:26 CESTNovember 9 (SeeNews) - Taiwanese silicon wafers maker Sino-American Silicon Products Inc (TPO:5483), or SAS, saw its consolidated revenues for October 2016 decrease by 1.79% on the year to about TWD 2.29 billion (USD 73m/EUR 66m).
Figures on the company’s website show that on a month-on-month basis sales last month climbed by some 1.24%. Combined revenue for January-October amounted to TWD 24.11 billion, up from TWD 23.6 billion in the same ten months of 2015.
In June SAS booked its highest monthly revenues so far in 2016 -- they were approximately TWD 2.77 billion. The second-biggest result was recorded in July when its sales neared TWD 2.64 billion.
Hsinchu-based SAS is active in the research and development (R&D), manufacturing and sale of both semiconductor and solar ingots and wafers, as well as sapphire wafers. It also provides integration and installation services for photovoltaic (PV) systems globally.
