Swiss Terravent buys 16.5 MW wind park in France

(SeeNews) – May 10, 2012 – Swiss investment firm Terravent said today it has bought a wind park with an installed capacity of 16.5 MW in the French department of Aveyron.

The park produces nearly 40 million KWh of electricity a year.

Terravent was set up in the summer of 2011 by five Swiss energy suppliers -- AET, EKS, EKZ, Ewl, SN Energie and Swiss energy trading company EGL. The firm will invest in European offshore wind projects.
