Eni moves Dogger Bank stake to offshore wind JV with HitecVision
Jun 30, 2022 16:51 CEST(SeeNews) – Jul 16, 2012 – Swiss solar electricity producer Edisun Power (SWF:ESUN) said on Friday it had put into operation a 2.2-MW solar plant in Mallorca, Spain.
The plant will produce about 3 million KWh of electricity annually and is Edisun's biggest installation to date. It will increase the company's solar generation asset portfolio to 14 MW.
The modules for the plant were made by Edisun's Chinese partner CNPV Solar Power SA (EPA:ALCNP).
Edisun was granted building permission for the installation before 2012 therefore the facility has not been affected by the Spanish moratorium on feed-in tariffs introduced by the government in January 2012. The moratorium concerns the whole renewable energy sector and is part of measures to decrease Spain's public deficit.
