March 28 (Renewables Now) - Swiss investment manager SUSI Partners AG acquired а 13.2-MW wind farm in Southern Ireland, the company said on Tuesday.

The Cappawhite B wind farm has been acquired from ABO Wind AG through SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II (SUSI RE II) for an undisclosed sum. The deal was finalised on March 26.

The wind farm has four Vestas V105 turbines with an annual output of 40,000 MWh. Commissioning is planned for the second quarter of the year. The park will be producing enough electric power annually to meet the needs of over 10,000 households, according to the developer's estimates. It is expected to help avoid 13,500 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per year.

ABO Wind has realised wind projects in Ireland with a total capacity of over 80 MW. Projects of 150 MW are currently in development.
