Sonnedix buys 5.5 MW of PV parks in Japan

April 8 (Renewables Now) - Independent power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd said today that its Japanese unit has completed the acquisition of two solar photovoltaic (PV) farms totalling 5.5 MW in Japan’s Shimane prefecture.

Both facilities started commercial operation in 2018. No further details have been provided.

With this purchase, Sonnedix Japan gets to manage over 100 MW of the total operating capacity. Additionally, the Japanese outfit is managing 237.8 MW of PV projects in construction, while its total controlled capacity rises above 500 MW, Sonnedix said.
