Sol Systems arranges financing for 1.7 MW of Indiana solar projects
Jul 24, 2013 - US solar finance company Sol Systems yesterday said it had arranged financing from unnamed investors for 1.7 MW of solar energy systems in the state of Indiana.
Financial details have not been provided.
The four commercial photovoltaic (PV) projects, installed by solar integrator Solscient Energy, have capacities of between 243 kW and 643 kW. The plants are managed by different parties, Sol System said.
Sol Systems provided underwriting services for each of the four projects and assisted Solscient Energy in marketing the assets.
The solar finance firm offers transaction support, deal structuring and financing solutions for solar power developers in the US. During the past six months, it had arranged more than USD 50 million (EUR 37.9m) in solar project funding and intends to facilitate over USD 150 million more by the end of 2013, it noted.
