SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 22 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian share indices ended mostly higher on Tuesday as total daily turnover increased, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), ended 0.41% higher at 602.47 points after rising 0.12% in the previous session on Thursday.
The Sofia bourse was closed on Friday and Monday for Easter.
The broader BGBX40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, added 0.59% to 121.71 point after rising 0.04% on Thursday.
The bourse's total turnover on the regulated market rose to 2.0 million levs ($1.4 million/1.0 million euro) from 780,700 levs in the previous trading session.
A total of 2,333,495 shares in solar products manufacturer Solarpro Holding [BUL:0S8], equal to some 5.0% in the company, changed hands at an average price of 0.313 levs apiece.
Tobacco producer Bulgartabac Holding [BUL: 57B] was the top blue-chip gainer, closing 6.96% higher at 91.989 levs as just one share was traded.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:5BU] led the blue-chip decliners, ending 2.93% lower at 0.630 levs as 35,003 shares changed hands.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, went down by 3.04% to 95.97 points after gaining 2.27% on Thursday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.57% to 443.87 points after edging down 0.14% on Thursday.
