Croatia's net electricity output down 5.6% y/y in April – table
Jun 24, 2022 18:49 CESTLJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 27 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's net electricity production increased by 3% year-on-year to 1,526 GWh in November, the statistical office said on Friday.
Compared to October, net electricity production increased by 86%, while total electricity consumption edged down by 0.5% to 1,193 GWh, the office of statistics said in a statement, citing provisional data.
The November output of the country's hydro power plants increased by 151% on a monthly basis, while the output of the thermal power plants fell by 25%.
Following a regular overhaul in October, generation at the nuclear power plant in November was approximately the same as in November 2018.
In line with the smaller production in thermal power plants, fuel consumption in November also decreased by 26%.
In November, Slovenia imported 547 GWh of electricity and exported 845 GWh, the statistical office said without providing monthly comparison figures.
Hydro power plants had the largest share of 41.4% in the total power generation in November, followed by nuclear energy with 32.4%, thermal energy with 25.7% and solar with 0.5%.
