Serbian-Czech JV To Launch Biomass Pellets Factory in Sept
BELGRADE (Serbia), June 30 (SeeNews) – Serbia's Angler will launch in partnership with Czech Pelletia Invest the production of biomass pellets at a 2.2 million euro ($3.2 million) factory in September, Belgrade-based media reported on Thursday.
The plant in Hrtkovci, in northern Serbia, will have an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes of pellets that will be used for heating purposes, news provider Ekapija (www.ekapija.com) said.
The factory will have an area of 1,500 square meters and will create 30 new jobs, Angler director Boris Vasiljev was quoted as saying.
The plant will be put into trial operation in August.
The factory's output will be marketed in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Turkey with the first shipments destined for Denmark and the Czech Republic.
