ZAGREB (Croatia), February 27 (SeeNews) - Holders of renewable energy source (RES) projects interested in selling them to Croatian state-owned energy utility HEP should file their offers by March 6, HEP said in a statement on Friday.

In January, HEP said it was seeking to take over solar power projects with capacity of over 300 kW and small hydro power plants of up to 10 MW as well as wind parks, biomass- and biogas-fired plants.

The company said at the time that it will consider for takeover exclusively projects that are still at the development stage and not plants that are already under construction or that have been brought online.

HEP group owns and operates over 4,000 MW of installed generation capacity and 974 MW of heat production capacity, including 26 hydroelectric plants and eight thermal power plants fired by oil, natural gas or coal.
