September 22 (Renewables Now) - US cloud-based software company Salesforce Inc (NYSE:CRM) on Tuesday said it is now sourcing 100% of the power it uses from renewable sources and has become carbon neutral across its full value chain.

The company first committed to achieving 100% renewable power in 2013.

With emissions reductions strategies in place, the company has also achieved net zero carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 of its operations.

After achieving its personal goals, Salesforce said it is launching Sustainability Cloud 2.0, which is designed to help the company's customers to become carbon neutral faster, by tracking and reducing their CO2 emissions.
