R.Power plans to enter more solar markets

R.Power Group, the Polish solar projects developer already active in Italy and Portugal, has plans to enter at least 10 new markets in the coming years.

“Large-scale photovoltaics is becoming an increasingly popular and cheaper source of energy in Europe. As R.POWER, we want to a part of this,” CEO Przemek Pieta said.

The company has won almost 300 MWp in Polish solar auctions, securing 15-year contracts, while the whole portfolio it is developing at home surpasses 2 GWp. In the last 12 months, R.Power got PLN 530 million (USD 135.4m/EUR 116m) in financing from mBank and Santander Bank for 183 MWp of its projects.
