BUCHAREST (Romania), October 6 (SeeNews) – Romania maintained its 34th spot in a ranking of the most attractive countries for renewable energy investments, global financial consultancy Ernst & Young (EY) said on Tuesday.

Romania had a score of 44.8 points, compared to 75 points scored by the US, which overtook China as the world's most attractive country for renewable energy investments, the consultancy said in the 45th edition of the Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index (RECAI) report.

Romania performed best on the solar, biomass and marine segments, the report showed.
