Weekly renewables M&A round-up (May 16-20)
May 20, 2022 17:01 CESTOctober 14 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar products maker Risen Energy Co Ltd (SHE:300118) said it has secured an order for 1.5 GW of its bifacial mono PERC photovoltaic (PV) modules.
The large order was placed by a single global independent power producer (IPP), whose name was not disclosed in a statement on Tuesday. The modules will be shipped to Europe, Africa and South America.
Risen said it has already organised 900 MW of the order and expects to conclude deliveries in the first half of 2021.
"This is one of our largest orders to date, and particularly significant for Risen's bifacial program," chief social media officer Bypina Veerraju Chaudary noted.
