Renewable power generation was equal to 1.9% of demand in Argentina's wholesale electricity market (MEM) in the first quarter of 2018, according to an update by MEM manager CAMMESA.
Hydropower plants smaller than 50 MW produced the most in the quarter -- 432.5 GWh, out of a total renewable electricity output of 645.7 GWh. Next come wind farms with 152.1 GWh generated and a share in MEM demand of just 0.44% in the three months. The table gives more details.
