ReneSola supplies equipment for 1.9-MW solar plant in California
Nov 26, 2013 - Chinese firm ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) said Monday it would deliver over 1.9 MW of modules for a rooftop solar plant of SunWest Fruit Co in California.
The modules will be used in a photovoltaic (PV) facility at SunWest Fruit’s fruit packaging plant in Parlier. The Chinese solar products maker will provide the equipment, while California-based Pickett Solar will be in charge of the installation.
When up and running, the solar power system will be capable of producing 3.9 million kWh of electricity each year, enough to meet the power needs of 490 households, according to estimates.
Earlier in November Renesola said it had delivered 3,280 of modules for a 1-MW solar park in the state of Georgia and unveiled an order for 53.5 MW of modules for a project that will be developed by US-based OCI Solar Power in Southern Texas.
