Rabbalshede Kraft gets environmental nod for 13.2-MW wind farm
Dec 10, 2012 - Swedish firm Rabbalshede Kraft AB said Monday it had secured an environmental permit for a wind park in Arjaeng, southwestern Sweden, with a planned capacity of about 13.2 MW.
The company received the permit from the County Administrative Board in the County of Vaermland in April 2012 and it has now come into effect. The project also has the green light from the Municipality of Arjaeng, a condition for the board's nod.
The Arjaeng Sydvaest wind park will consist of 13 turbines and will generate 116,000 MWh of power a year, enough to meet the energy needs of 19,000 homes. According to Rabbalshede Kraft's website, the facility will utilise 2.5-MW to 3-MW machines.
