Peru's renewables share at 5.9% in Aug

September 23 (Renewables Now) - Peru’s non-conventional renewables generated 297 GWh of the nation’s electricity in August, down by 5% year-on-year, Peruvian ministry of energy and mines said.

The combined share of wind, solar and bioenergy in Peru’s total power production rose to 5.9% in August from 5.6% in July.

The renewables share in August 2021 was 6.5%.
