Parent expects to announce BayWa r.e. stake sale in Q1 2020

December 27 (Renewables Now) - The management board of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6) said before the holidays it expected to conclude negotiations in the first quarter of 2020 for the sale of a stake in BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH.

As has been announced in November, several investors have made offers to acquire a minority stake of around 49% in BayWa r.e. as part of a bidding process conducted by the parent company. The target is 100% owned by BayWa AG.

BayWa r.e. company has commissioned over 2.8 GW of wind and solar power projects around the world and manages over 7 GW of assets.
