Offshore wind developer Ocean Winds, a joint venture between EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) and Engie SA (EPA:ENGI), has reached agreements with the US Department of the Interior, similar to the recent <a href="https://renewablesnow.com/news/totalenergies-agrees-to-exit-us-offshore-wind-invest-in-lng-instead-1291860/" target="_blank">TotalEnergies deal</a>, to end offshore wind leases for two projects and invest in conventional energy.
